Frequently asked questions
Is Condui really free?
Yes. You can draw and validate unlimited local projects without a subscription. A free account also includes one cloud project with every premium feature, so you can use the complete workflow.
Is free use unlimited?
The number of local projects is unlimited, but local projects have limitations on exporting and sharing. Your one free premium project does include every premium feature.
What are the limitations of free local projects?
Drawing and AREI validation remain available. Local projects do not include cloud sync, online sharing, comments, version history or installation date marking. PDF export is limited and includes a watermark. Some professional features, such as advanced import and a logo or signature, require a premium project.
Does Condui work without an internet connection?
Yes. Install Condui as a web app and open it online at least once. You can then draw and edit local projects offline. Cloud sync, online sharing and some premium features still require an internet connection. A cloud project must first be opened on the device before you can continue working on it offline.
Do I lose my projects if I stop paying?
No. Projects that are no longer covered by a subscription remain available in the cloud as read-only projects. You can still view, download, delete or keep them locally. Existing share links continue to work. A project you unlocked with a one-time payment keeps its premium access.
Can I keep my own project backups?
Yes. You can download the complete editable project and store it separately. This is especially important for local projects: they exist only in your browser or device storage and can be lost if you clear that storage, change devices or do not keep your own backup.
What is the difference between unlocking a project and subscribing?
A one-time unlock gives one specific project lasting premium access without a subscription. A subscription gives all your cloud projects premium access while it is active. Per-project access often suits occasional work; a subscription is generally better value for recurring professional work.
