Draw a situation plan

Draw a situation plan

A situation plan shows where the electrical points are located in the building. Together with the one-wire diagram, it forms an essential part of the file for inspection, handover and later changes.

Draw your diagram in Condui

What is the difference with a one-wire diagram?

The one-wire diagram shows the electrical structure per circuit. The situation plan shows the location of sockets, light points, switches, appliances and other electrical elements on the plan. Both documents must support each other logically, meaning that almost every symbol with the same label must appear on both diagrams.

Draw from a plan or start empty

In Condui, you can import a plan or draw a simple layout yourself. Then you place electrical points and link them to the right circuits. This keeps the relationship between the plan and the one-wire diagram clear.

Useful for renovation and handover

A clear situation plan helps during inspection, maintenance and later works. It prevents information from existing only in the installer's or owner's head. You can walk around a house and use the plan to see which circuit feeds a socket or lamp.
